Needle Partner Program

The Needle Partner Program lets you turn your workflows into templates that are featured in the Needle Templates Directory. Other users can discover and use your templates, and every time someone runs one of your workflows, you earn a share of the revenue generated from that workflow run.

How It Works

  1. Build a workflow — Create a workflow on Needle that solves a real problem (e.g., generate a Spotify playlist based on your mood).
  2. Submit it as a template — From the Partner Hub, submit your workflow along with a description of what it does and why it's useful.
  3. Review — The Needle team reviews submissions, typically within 24 hours.
  4. Earn revenue — Once approved, your template appears in the Templates Directory. Every time another user runs your workflow, you earn a share of the revenue from that run.

Getting Started

1. Sign Up

If you don't have a Needle account yet, sign up at needle.app. During onboarding, select Partner Hub as your goal in the final step to land directly in the Partner Hub.

2. Open the Partner Hub

Available at: needle.app/dashboard/partners

The Partner Hub is your central dashboard for submitting workflows, tracking performance, and estimating revenue. You can use the revenue slider to estimate potential earnings based on different usage volumes.

3. Create a Workflow

Before you can submit a template, you need at least one workflow. Head to the Workflow Builder and create your workflow. Make sure it works end-to-end by triggering test runs before submitting.

4. Submit Your Workflow

  1. In the Partner Hub, click Submit Your Workflow.
  2. Select the workflow you want to submit.
  3. Write a clear description of what the workflow does and how it's useful for others.
  4. Click Submit.

Your workflow will enter a review queue. The Needle team typically reviews submissions within 24 hours and will get back to you with the result.

Analytics & Payouts

Once your submission is approved, the Partner Hub shows analytics for your templates:

  • Views — How many people viewed your template in the directory.
  • Uses — How many people added your template to their account.
  • Runs — How many times users ran your workflow.
  • Payout — Your accumulated earnings based on workflow runs.

You can also track how your templates are performing over time with historical charts.

Tips for a Successful Submission

  • Solve a real problem — Templates that address common, tedious tasks are more likely to get used.
  • Write a clear description — Explain what the workflow does, what inputs it expects, and what value it provides.
  • Test thoroughly — Make sure your workflow runs reliably before submitting.
  • Use descriptive node names — This helps reviewers and users understand the workflow at a glance.
